The EGOHOME Black Foam 14" mattress is a memory foam option that emphasizes cooling technology and pressure relief. It is designed for those who prioritize a contoured sleep surface and temperature regulation. Whether this mattress fits your needs depends on your preference for foam density and the specific firmness level you select from their three available options.

Our Take on the EGOHOME Black Foam 14"

The EGOHOME Black Foam 14" is a viable choice if you are seeking a deep-contouring memory foam bed with integrated cooling materials. Its performance in motion isolation makes it a strong candidate for couples. However, if you prefer the responsive bounce of an innerspring or hybrid mattress, you should look elsewhere, as this model focuses on the sink-in feel characteristic of high-profile foam.

Who Should Consider This Mattress

Side and combination sleepers who require significant pressure relief for their shoulders and hips.
Individuals who prefer the deep body-contouring sensation provided by a 14-inch memory foam construction.
Couples who prioritize motion isolation to minimize sleep disturbances caused by a partner moving.

Key Performance Features

The graphene and ice silk cover is designed to manage heat, which helps maintain a cooler surface temperature compared to standard foam.
The 14-inch profile provides substantial depth for pressure relief, which is beneficial for reducing strain on joints during the night.
The mattress is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, indicating that the materials have been tested for harmful substances.

Important Considerations

The mattress is available in three firmness levels, so you must confirm which specific feel aligns with your sleep position before ordering.
As a high-profile foam mattress, it may lack the edge support and bounce found in hybrid or traditional spring-based beds.

Checklist Before You Buy

Confirm the return policy and trial period directly on the merchant site to ensure you have time to test the firmness at home.
Check the dimensions of your current bed frame to ensure it can support the 14-inch height of this mattress.
Verify if the specific firmness option you choose is recommended for your body weight and primary sleep position.
Review the shipping and setup requirements, as high-profile foam mattresses can be heavy to maneuver once expanded.
